CLEAR is the Cambridgeshire Learning from Excellence and Appreciation Reporting where we aim to capture staff excellence/good practice around the region. There is no restriction or definition of what excellence might be: it is any positive report about a staff member or colleague.
Where did it all go so right?
Learning from excellence is a quality improvement tool that aims to focus on positive communication, appreciation, encouragement and kindness.
What happens next?
The colleague who was ‘excellent’ will receive an email.
Across Cambridgeshire nominations will also be sent to the departments Line manager/
Clinical director for an Appreciative Enquiry Meeting where the Learning from Excellence team in Cambridgeshire can see if there are learning points that can be extracted from nominations, that could inform services or other staff could learn from.
